/ 5 ( 0 Peoples ) The idea of RIITS wasnt indigenously ours. It was a group of students with burning desire, who forced us into the inception. It was they who funded us and in that sense it was a zero investment venture. But since the inception in 2011, a lot has been put in, not in money terms, but as sincere and dedicated effort which is the back bone of the institution and the public secret behind the development.
Today, in achievement terms, RIITS stands unrivalled in Kollam and we remain thankful to Kollamites for their recognition of sincerity. Our growth graph is on a steady hike which renders us restless at RIITS. But we have learned to enjoy it, energized by the warmth of content faces all around us..
We are a team of well experienced and dedicated people who are familiar with every pulse of the sector we are into. Most of the faculty members have been in the field for more than 10 years and their experience and expertise is what reflects in our achievements so far. Their previous service in similar institutions all over Kerala has benefited them and in turn RIITS
Located centrally in Kollam town, at Chemmamukku, we are easily and equally accessible from all parts of Kollam. Our building of 4000 square feet floor area, locally well known by the name Dr. Bhaskar College, is in a peaceful premise, isolated from the regular city disturbances
Refined Entrance Achievement Program (REAP) is an integrated two year School Going Entrance Oriented Coaching Scheme run by us in coordination with well reputed schools of Kollam. A cream of students are selected through various screening stages and this lot is admitted to the Schools, as a separate batches.
The classes will be conducted with the support of our experienced faculty with proper orientation towards IIT – JEE and NEET entrance examinations. The course being multi focused students should necessarily learn Mathematics as well as Biology as per syllabus. The benefit is in time terms, that Entrance Coaching does not stand apart from the regular school classes, and in two years, we will be able to prepare them to a level higher than that achieved by a IIT – JEE Repeater student, who would have spent three years then.
Two year NEET Program
This is another two year courses intended for regular school going students, structured similar to the IIT – JEE program but with the focus on NEET Medical Entrance Examination and AIIMS entrance. They are also made to appear for the regular national level NEET tests, conducted by Resonance, so as to be ranked by them. Students to this scheme are also selected through a screening test conducted by RIITS, among 10th standard pass outs with good records.
